Visit the Mini-Golf Courses

“Take some time out to visit the mini-golf courses: Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon!”

The first time we ever did mini-golf at Walt Disney World it was sort of by accident.  We got to our resort around one pm and didn’t have anything scheduled until dinner that night at 8.  Since we didn’t want to “waste” a park ticket, we decided to use one of the free mini golf vouchers we had received that year with our packet and went to Winter Summerland.  At that course you can choose to either play Winter or Summer and we chose Winter.

We had so much fun playing through that course that when we were finished?  We paid to play the Summer side.  While the Winter side was definitely more fun, we really enjoyed ourselves and killed two to three hours running around the courses.  It was a GREAT way to start the trip!

This last visit we decided to go do the mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens first thing.  It was AMAZINGLY detailed and super, super fun!  Whether you were trying to hit a golf ball up a flood of Bacchus’ spilled wine or trying to get through those magical brooms throwing buckets of water over your head, the entire course was a blast!  And again it was the perfect way to start our trip:  low key but full of Disney magic.  And as a special treat at the end we both got a Tinkerbell golf ball to take home with us for free!

Mini-golf is definitely one of those attractions you don’t hear much about and can be easily missed, but try to make sure you get there at least once!
