Make a Last Day Tradition
“Make a last day tradition. We always walk around the MK after fireworks and then ride the Carrousel one last time knowing we’ll be back!”
It’s always sad when you know your vacation is coming to a close. The last nights in the parks can be bittersweet because you know it’s the last time (at least that year) that you will be walking the streets of the parks. Rather than make it a race to see how much we can cram in, there are a couple of things we do to make our last night memorable. First, we watch the fireworks in front of the magic kingdom. Then we fight out way through the crowd to go ride Cinderella’s Golden Carousel–which it will always be to me. Screw Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel (is it one r or two? Who knows).
Anyway, it’s a really nice way to say goodbye to the park. Whenever we have been there it is never very crowded and you get some lovely views. So many people take pictures of the castle from the front, they never get to take in the gorgeous stained glass from the back! The picture above is one taken from the carousel on our last night of our vacation last year. Gorgeous!
And for those of you in the know: Cinderella’s very own horse is somewhere on the carousel. Look closely and try to spot the horse with the golden bow on its tail. That’s hers!
