Grownups Wear Costumes During the Halloween Party

“Even grownups can dress up in the park during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. If you go, definitely wear a costume!”

The first time we did the Halloween Party we assumed that only children would be in costume.  After all, kids often wear princess dresses or pirate outfits while wandering the world during the day, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party wouldn’t be any different.  How wrong we were!  We were pretty much the ONLY adults not in costume and it made me so sad!  I vowed that when we went back, we’d be wearing costumes and have fun roaming the streets of the Magic Kingdom in character!

We’ve been back twice since then and always make sure we have a ticket to this event.  It’s a huge amount of fun and everyone runs around complimenting each other’s costumes.  Some people really put a lot of thought into theirs–we usually see huge groups of people dressed up in a theme like Peter Pan.  All the rides are open and you get to collect candy throughout the park.  What could be better than that?
