Expedition Everest has a Single Rider Line
“Expedition Everest has a single rider line. Your party might get split up, but it’s worth it to skip the long wait times!”
Against all odds, Expedition Everest has displaced Thunder Mountain as my favorite roller coaster in the parks. Its popularity leads to long, winding lines that, while fun, can really be brutally hot to wait in. Until this year I had no idea that Everest had a single rider line and it can be a great idea when the regular line is up around 50 minutes. Sure, your party could be split up, but more often than not you end up on the same train–you just aren’t sitting with each other. And worst case scenario they get put on the one right after yours so you don’t have to wait too long. Just don’t get in the single rider line and make a fuss about wanting to be seated with the people you are with–that’s not what it is for! If you absolutely cannot be separated from your friends, family, and loved ones, this line is not for you.
To get to the single rider line, walk past the regular line. There isn’t a lot of signage, but it will be on your left.
