Spend Some Time Exploring Your Resort

I covered this a bit before with the resort-hopper post, but I do think it’s important that people know there are quiet pools at their resort!  More often than not people get all caught up in the theming of the main pool, which is quite understandable and can be really cool (see pictured Coronado Springs main pool).  But the quiet pools can be far more relaxing and absent the screaming, over-excited kids that quite often like the themed pools more.  Make sure you check your resort map to see where they might be hiding–a couple of the resorts are very large and the trails can be twisty and turny, so don’t get lost!  But the trip can be well worth the quiet and relaxation–not to mention the time not getting splashed while you take a quick swim.
