Don't Just Follow the Crowd

“Don’t just follow the crowd like everyone else. If there are two lines available go with the one that no one else is choosing.”

It always amazes us when we’re at Disney how many people just follow whoever is in front of them.  Some rides still offer a left and a right line to join when entering the attraction and more often than not, people go towards the side that is the most crowded!  While this is somewhat understandable since Fastpass has taken over one side of these lines at a lot of the attractions, never let yourself surrender to herd mentality!  If the people in front of you go left and it seems like there’s a lot of people there, go right!  

We see this the most on Pirates.  Usually Disney even stations someone out front to yell that both sides are open, but for some reason people usually go to the left.  So pay attention when you’re getting in line!  It could save you upwards of ten minutes in some cases!
