Ride on Cinderella's Horse on the Carrousel
“Feel like royalty and ride on Cinderella’s horse on the Carrousel. Hers is the one horse with the gold ribbon on the tail!”
While all the horses on the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel are, well, charming and gorgeous, there is one horse on there that is very special. This is Cinderella’s very own horse and if you are very observant or extremely patient when walking around looking for your perfect horse, you can ride it too! It’s the one with a golden ribbon on its tail (as pictured!) and while I do not know how well known that fact is, it can be a bit of a race to get any kind of cool looking horse, what with the small, agile children that dart all over the place screaming to get on their favorite one. Still, a ride on the Carrousel is not complete until you get to ride this horse. When you get home you can brag to your friends about how Cinderella personally loaned you her own horse to ride and that was just so gracious of her. It’ll probably work if you’re around the age of 5. I would’ve been impressed.
That said, there really is no bad seat on the Carrousel, whether you choose Cinderella’s horse, another horse, or sit in one of the chariots. While there’s always some sort of wait since you can’t get on while the ride is moving, I have never had to wait more than one cycle of music before getting on. It is a mad dash for horses once the gates open, though, so don’t be surprised. But just walking in the opposite direction of the crowds of sprinting children usually works out. Sometimes they’ll let you just stay on and if they aren’t swamped, and this is our favorite way to end our time in the Magic Kingdom! If nothing else, it’s a great way to sit down and get off your feet for a couple of minutes.
