Rent a Locker in the Morning at the Parks

“Get a locker in the morning to store sweatshirts and bags so you don’t have to lug everything and are prepared if the weather changes.”

Every time we went to Disney as kids, my mother always rented one of those lockers right inside the gates at the Magic Kingdom. While I have some fond memories here of playing hide and seek with Mister Smee when I was three, mostly I remember being frustrated that we had to stand and wait while she packed all our extra stuff away. However, when night rolled around and it got chilly, or if it started to rain, it was back to the locker to grab the sweaters, sweatshirts, and rain gear that she had so thoughtfully brought and then right back on the rides without having to go back to the hotel.

 Each one of the parks, from the Magic Kingdom to the Animal Kingdom to Epcot to Disney Hollywood Studios has lockers available for guests–even Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard beach, though a change of clothes for those parks is pretty standard.  The lockers are only $9 per day for a large locker or $7 for a small locker, but are pretty priceless if you want to save time.  Especially if you have kids you would otherwise be hauling all over the place if the weather changes!
