Watch IllumiNations by the Water at the Boardwalk

The Boardwalk is one of my favorite places to walk around.  It’s beautiful, the shops that line the way are great, and at night the place really comes alive with jugglers, bright lights, and games, just like a real old fashioned Boardwalk! While I was a bit sad that the Atlantic Dance Hall only offers club music these days rather than swing dancing, it’s still a great place to poke your head into before heading over to listen to the hilarious dueling pianos!

What the Boardwalk lacks in dining it makes up for in the restaurants that surround it and the easy access to the Yacht and Beach Club resorts just around the lake. And it is also along that path that takes you to the delicious wonders that is Epcot’s World Showcase so food wise they’re pretty covered. The best thing about being close to Epcot is that at night you can watch IllumiNations without even entering the park! And sometimes, on those rare nights that Fantasmic is actually playing, you can see fireworks from Disney Hollywood Studios as well.  It’s a nice, romantic, quiet way to spend your evenings without the press of the Epcot crowds. Though I’m told this little secret isn’t so secret anymore.  But still, if you’re staying here, why not go down in your jammies and take in a fireworks show?  You’re on vacation! It’ll be great!
