Watch the Fireworks from the Polynesian Beach
“Spent the day at a park that closes early? Watching the fireworks from the Polynesian beach is a free and magical way to end an evening.”
This is something we stumbled upon quite by accident: our first full night after a day in the parks had us eating dinner at Ohana pretty early and then returning to our hotel. So we decided to stick around just exploring the Polynesian and the area around it. That’s when we discovered that you can get a perfect view of the castle and the fireworks from the beach! Totally for free. It was a lovely way to kick off our first night, though I do suggest if you plan on doing this you cover yourself in mosquito repellant. Since our camera takes terrible night pictures unless there’s a lot of light, I give you a picture of Mickey and co. from inside the Polynesian and you can just pretend that they’re sitting there getting ready to watch the sunset and then the fireworks.
