Photopass portrait sessions at the resort make for a beautiful backdrop.
“Got your Photopass? Most deluxe resorts now offer a professional portrait session using the resort’s scenic views as a backdrop.”
Adam here, filling in for the tip o’ the day. Tomorrow your normal host will return, but for today have a tip I thought up! (Tomorrow a photo will be added as well. Sorry. I just don’t know macs.)
Everyone knows Photopass, right? The little cards that they give you at the parks that you swipe whenever you get your picture (or your kids’ pictures) taken with one of the lovable characters or in front of a particularly breathtaking view. Well, at several of the deluxe resorts Photopass is now offering portrait sessions. They take plenty of photos of you and your family, using the resort’s most scenic picture spots as breathtaking and dramatic backdrops for your photos.
The resorts where this is offered are the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Beach Club, the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian and the Wilderness Lodge. For my money you just can’t beat the Wilderness Lodge for countless great picture spots, but the Disney Photopass crew are experts and their portraiture people really know what they’re doing. You’re in good hands!
Unlike regular Photopass, this isn’t free and it does require a reservation, so if it’s something you’re interested in go ahead and call 407-934-4004 for more information, package pricing and to set up a session. You were going to have to head down to Sears for the family portrait anyway, right? Could their backdrop really beat an African savannah or a beautiful Hawai'ian beach?
