Tired of Walking Around MK? Take the Railroad!

“Tired of walking around MK? Take the railroad! It’s a good way to get off your feet and see the park from a new angle. Nice breeze too!”

It is inevitable that you will get to the point where you just don’t want to walk anymore but you still want to get around to all the best rides in the Magic Kingdom.  Well fear not!  A highly overlooked attraction is the Walt Disney World Railroad.  You might only know about these steam trains because of the train whistle blow you hear in the distance or because to get into the park you have to pass under the tracks themselves, but because the platform is so raised, some guests completely miss the fact that you can get on the train and circle the entirety of the Magic Kingdom!  There’s a stop on Main Street, one in Frontierland, and there used to be one in Toontown but since that’s being demolished I imagine they’re skipping that one.  But it’s a great way to get off your feet for a little bit, get a nice breeze, and get around the parks while still feeling like  you’re participating in all the magic.  The best part is, they don’t make you get off at the “last stop” so you can circle around as many times as you like.  If you love trains or have a little one that does, it is a great way to sneak in some relaxation time.
