The All Star Sports is the least popular, and least crowded, of the value resorts

“If you’re going All Star, consider All Star Sports. It’s the least popular of the value resorts and as such often has the least crowded buses.”

I’m not going to lie to you. We’ve never stayed at the All Star Resorts. Still, we’ve managed to visit every resort on property to check them out and to see the unique theming and we’ve talked to a lot of people who’ve stayed everywhere from the Tree Houses to the Pop Century and this one fact about the All Star Resorts always comes up. The All Star Sports is the least popular of the hotels and, as such, is the quietest of the three and tends to have the least crazy bus.

I’ve heard it said that people prefer the Pop Century when it comes to the value resorts and all the information they’re releasing about the new Art of Animation resort makes it sound like it’s going to be the new value winner, but if you’re the kind of person who views a resort as a temporary docking station between barnstorming the parks then the All Star Sports makes for the most convenient of the lot.

Edit: As ifuscam noted in response to this post, you’ll definitely want to double check that you’re not going there during a major Disney’s World of Sports event. During some events (such as Pop Warner and other competitions) the All Star Sports suddenly becomes a lot more popular than usual!
