You’re going to want to show up early no matter what. Lines to meet with the characters, much less the actual stars from the Star Wars films and television series, build up very quickly. Getting there early means getting in line early and getting in line early means getting into more lines and getting to meet more characters. It’s really as easy as that. Though in addition to getting to meet characters, there’s also the interaction with the stormtroopers you get to see before the park actually opens. They stand up on top of the entry gates, blasters in hand, and berate the guests to behave within the standards expected by the Empire.
