A couple of Tower of Terror tips for scaredy cats like me!

“Tower of Terror skittish? You can bail at the last second and still see the fantastic queue. Want something to hold on to? Sit up front!”

My wife’s way more a Tower of Terror person than I am. I love Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. I enjoy those crazier roller coasters over at the park that shall not be named. The green one and the one that some say was originally meant for the Beastly Kingdomme. But I can’t do the Tower of Terror. Still, I love the queue! Love it! It has some of the most impressive decor, with the most attention to detail, this side of Expedition Everest. As a long time fan of Disney area music, the tinny big band tunes from the Hollywood Tower are some of my favorite for setting a mood.

So since I love the queue but can’t really do the ride? Well, at the last second, as she is boarding the ride for the fifth time, I can always hit a real elevator off to the side and ride it down to one of the World’s many, many gift shops. And there I can watch the photos roll in.

Though for those occasions where I actually am willing to get on board, I make sure we’re sitting up front. She gets the best view and me? I get something to hold on to!
