The Best Place for Magic Kingdom Fireworks is in Front of the Castle

We have tried watching the fireworks from all sorts of different places–most notably from behind the castle and also over in Toontown.  While you still get great views and even better: no crowds, there’s something about watching those fireworks going off behind the castle that’s just…well…magical!  So we always try to get a spot on Main Street to watch the fireworks. Whether you stand in that little island in the center or a bit back on Main Street itself, so long as you have the castle in front of you it’s all good. You’ll probably see at least one proposal happening as well, which is always really sweet. I don’t know how they line them up, because the fireworks actually take place like a mile BEHIND the park (if you watch them from California Grill you will marvel at the distance!) but they’re absolutely perfectly aligned to make you feel like you’re in one of those perfect Disney commercials. Magic feels real and I never fail to tear up. So get there early and claim your spot!
