There are Real Parrots on Parrot Cay Island

“Staying at Caribbean Beach? Go see the live parrots that live in the kids’ play area on the aptly named Parrot Cay Island!”

We have only stayed at the Carribbean Beach once and it was only for one night so we did not get to thoroughly enjoy this resort–though I will say that the people who complain it’s a lot of walking are right. The place is HUGE. Beautifully colorful but HUGE. It was a long walk lugging our luggage from the main building to our room. One of the big draws is that they actually have live parrots over in the kids’ play area! While I am pulling a bait and switch with this picture (it’s from the Animal Kingdom), imagine your child could look up from playing and see these colorful birdies.  How cool would that be?
