For a relaxing evening of fun away from the parks, try the Boardwalk!

“For many people it’s just the strip across from Epcot’s International Gateway, but Disney’s Boardwalk is an entertainment venue in and of itself.”

During the day the Boardwalk may not seem so great. Some unique restaurants (not all of which are on the Dining Plan, so watch out!) along with some stores selling mostly the same stuff as the Emporium or MouseGears all in a cute setting. But come back past sundown and the Boardwalk comes alive, especially during Disney’s more popular months. Street entertainers combine with some of the best Walt Disney World clubs this side of September 2008 to make the Boardwalk one of the most happening places to spend an evening on property.

The Flying Fish is considered some of the best seafood on property while Kouzzina is worth a visit during an evening break from Epcot if for no other reason than that the World Showcase doesn’t have a Greece. C'mon, Mr Staggs, I want some souvlaki and tzatziki while visiting Epcot! Anyway, if you’re not so hungry but you’re interested in just having some fun, Jellyrolls dueling pianos club is a fantastic good time (as can be seen by the sheer number of locals and CMs who show up. It’s not quite Adventurer’s Club level used to be, but it’s close!) while the Atlantic Dance Hall is a great place to get down. Atlantic often features live bands, so it’s worth checking out just to see what kind of music is being featured that night. They used to have swing dancing more often, but these days the focus is a lot more modern.

Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall cost, but just visiting the Boardwalk is free with free parking for Disney guests, so at the very least it’s well worth the price of admission.
