There’s a point where a person can almost become blase to the thrills at the World. While the theme of Walt Disney Worlds countless lands are never anything less than delightful, the true thrill seeker may eventually get used to rocketing off to an Aerosmith concert or blasting around the track at nearly sixty miles per hour. So how do you step that up?

That’s where the Indy Racing Experience and the Richard Petty Driving Experience come in. Head out to the WDW Speedway and prepare yourself for anywhere from an hour to an afternoon (depending on the package) of training by professionals and then the racing experience of your life. Then you join one of those professionals in the passenger seat as the car rockets three laps around the speedway at speeds exceeding 150 miles per hour. Or for the ultimate thrill seeker, take the wheel and drive yourself for eight laps of intense excitement. 

Of course, there’s also the once-in-a-lifetime experience of a full afternoon with the experts and then thirty laps. That one earns the epithet of once-in-a-lifetime by coming in at around $1300! Still, if you want the ultimate thrill, sometimes you gotta pay the ultimate price. The other packages range between $109 to $500, depending on package and whether you go with Indy or Richard Petty.

One thing is certain, you’ll never be able to go back to the Tomorrowland Speedway.
