Use Walkie Talkies at the Parks

“If your group is going to split up at the parks try carrying small walkie-talkies to keep track of everyone. Fun spy names are encouraged.”

This is apparently a common enough tip that it’s hard to get a radio channel all to yourself at Disney.  But that’s okay, because what you need to do is make up awesome spy names for yourself and the members of your family/group that you need to stay in contact with.  Kids old enough to go off on their own but not old enough that you don’t worry? Just make sure Regal Beagle (aka mom and dad) calls in to Prince/ss Peach (son/daughter) every half hour or so to see where in the parks they are. Anyone overhearing that is not going to be inviting them to any sort of party so you can relax. It’s a big hit with the younger kids who can pretend they’re super spies like Kim Possible. Let them pick their own names and have fun!
