Measure Your Child Before Going to Disney

“Measure your kid(s) before you go to Disney and be aware of what they can and can’t ride so that you can avoid those lines (and a breakdown)”

There are a lot of rides at Disney that have a height requirement, so if you are bringing little kids with you to the park, make sure you have looked at those restrictions in at least one guidebook and measured your children beforehand. If you know what rides they can and can’t go on, you can make it a point to avoid those that they wouldn’t be allowed to ride.  Don’t guess–make sure if you’re going to be waiting 40+ minutes in line that when you get up there they are not going to be turned away. It will save you a headache and probably a breakdown from your five year old. Each of these rides usually has a measuring stick right at the front of the line, but do you really want to even chance them having a fit that they don’t measure up?  No, so measure them BEFORE and have those rides they wouldn’t be allowed on in mind so that you can steer them away.

Remember that hats do not count in the measurement, so no going the Boo route and giving them some googly eyes to try to make the cut.  These limits are there for their safety so accept them and move on!
