Stop and Watch the Main Street Philharmonic

“Stop and watch the Main Street Philharmonic if you happen upon them either on Main Street or in Liberty Square. Great tunes and fun!”

We are as guilty as anyone of rushing through parks and not noticing the little touches and performances as we race to the next ride, but on this last trip we ran nearly right into the Main Street Philharmonic not once but twice and each time we stopped to watch. They were absolutely fantastic! They play some great tunes and are wonderful with kids and adults alike with a lot of interaction. We ran into them on Main Street and in Liberty Square just randomly, though there’s probably something somewhere which says when and where they will show up. I actually have a picture of me at like age 6 wearing one of their hats along with my sister, Katie, back when those Minnie Mouse dresses were as close to Princess dresses as you could get.  This might have to be a two picture post so that you can see they’ve been around delighting young and old for ages.  So take a moment and join in on a chorus of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” or try your hand at swing dancing in the square–just definitely stop and listen!
