Make sure that if you lose your camera it will find its way back to you!
“Loss-proof your camera. Write ‘if found please call’ and your number on a napkin, then take a picture. Do this for every flash card you use.”
There are a few ways to loss-proof your camera, but one of the easiest is just to take a piece of paper (and Disney has napkins a-plenty for free) and write down on it 'if found, please call XXX-XXX-XXXX’ where all those Xs represent your cellphone number. Make sure you do this for every memory card you use as the first photo. Some cameras even have ways to lock this as a default greeting photo that pops up when the camera is first turned on, so check your instruction manual.
Of course this won’t help if your camera gets stolen, but it can definitely help if the camera is left behind after enjoying a lunch at Seasons or a show at the Festival of the Lion King.
