Stay at More Than One Resort and Don't Worry About Bags
“Stay at more than one resort during your stay and don’t worry about your bags, Disney will move them from one hotel to the other for you!”
There are a number of reasons why you might want to stay at more than one resort for your vacation. Maybe you always wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian but can’t afford a full seven days there or maybe the resort you want to stay at is all booked up for the start or end of your trip and can’t accomodate you. Not to worry, you can stay at more than one resort for your stay and Disney makes it entirely hassle free!
The first time we ever stayed at the Wilderness Lodge we were running up against the end of Nights of Joy, which whenever I plugged it into the website wouldn’t let me choose any sort of “normal” room it was always bumping me up to the expensive levels. After talking to one of the Disney agents, they said it was just the first night that was doing it, so we decided to stay at the Caribbean Beach resort for the first night, then switch over to the Wilderness Lodge the second. We were a bit anxious about lugging all of our luggage from one resort to the other on the buses–thinking we’d have to go from CB to a park then to Wilderness Lodge again, but upon asking at check-in they said it would be no problem and they do resort transfers all the time! We just dropped our bags off at the front desk and they said they’d take care of the rest–and they did! When we got to Wilderness Lodge and checked in, our bags came along about an hour afterwards and they called us when they arrived. It was a great relief!
So go ahead and splurge on a night or two at a Deluxe resort and then head on over to a Moderate or Value one. It’s a great way to try out more than one resort and it’s worry free!
