Ask to Ride in a Certain Seat

On certain rides you can ask a CM to skip your turn and wait until a certain seat in the front of back of the ride becomes available.”

There’s a real key to this tip and it is be polite about it. Rides like Expedition Everest and Thunder Mountain come with real perks depending on where you’re sitting: for Thunder Mountain being in the back row gives you a more thrilling ride, while on Expedition Everest it’s a tossup on whether the very front or the very back is the best. Of course, getting these seats is the luck of the line–or how nicely you ask the CM and how busy they are. We have asked at Thunder Mountain if we could wait for a seat in the back. Usually there is another “line” back at the last row queue that they let build up.  This means you might have to wait two or three ride sequences longer than you normally would have, but if you want that awesome seat it’s totally worth it! Just remember to listen to the CM.  If they say yes, say thank you!  And if they say no, well, just sit where you’re assigned then get back in line and try again.  No seat is really a bad seat, you’re at Disney!
