No Balloons Allowed on Animal Kingdom Lodge Property

“The Animal Kingdom Lodge does not allow balloons on property, they will be taken from you. So if you love balloons, maybe don’t stay there!”

Even though they tell you as soon as you check in that balloons are not allowed on property in order to protect the animals, it is inevitable that people bring balloons back from the park to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is just a bad idea, folks.  They’ll take it from you at the door and “store it” until you check out, but are you really looking to take it on the plane too?  It’s for the protection of the animals out on the safari that they don’t allow them–if a balloon floats out there and pops, an animal could ingest it and become very sick or die and no one wants that! So if you’re staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge just stay away from balloons in general! Definitely DO NOT bring them back to the resort with you!
