Spaceship Earth is Best Done in the Afternoon

“Spaceship Earth is best done in the afternoon when the crowds and lines have moved from Future World off to the World Showcase Pavilions.”

It’s really hard not to want to go get in line for this right away. It’s not only the first ride you come across at Epcot, but it’s in the BALL! You have to walk right by it. How can you not start your day at Epcot at Spaceship Earth? Well that’s simple: because the lines in the morning can stretch out upwards of 45 minutes! I know, I know. It just seems wrong to walk by it.  I’m a stickler for tradition and my family tradition dictates that you ride Snow White’s Scary Adventures first thing in the Magic Kingdom and you ride Spaceship Earth at Epcot. This usually leads to us having to get to Epcot before opening and making a beeline for it so that we only wait in a trivial line, but honestly, the line gets really, really short in the afternoon.  So if you can steel yourself for it, walk right on by that 40 minute wait and come back later when you can walk right on.
