Carry Your Disney Resort Key Card With You

“Staying at a Disney resort? Carry your room key around with you everywhere so you can take advantage of extra magic hours and fastpasses!”

It’s pretty common to not want to carry too much stuff with you at the parks, but one thing you should absolutely always have on you if staying on property is your room key card. No asking one person in your party just to remember theirs so you can get back in the room, you all need them!  In the parks you need the card key to get FastPasses (you plug them into a machine and they spit out a pass) and also to get a wrist band for extra magic hours. You don’t want to have to run back to your hotel then come back to the parks! And yeah, those wrist bands aren’t exactly fashionable (that bright green really clashed with my outfit), but when extra magic hours or a special event comes around, cast members start looking for people without them to kick them out, so make sure you have your key card and can get one!
