Go to the Magic Kingdom Early on July 4th

“Go to the Magic Kingdom early on July 4th if you want to see the fireworks. They can get so crowded they close the gates, so don’t miss out!”

Disclaimer: I have never actually been to the parks on July 4th, but this is what I hear. Get to the Magic Kingdom early and stay all day because they can get so crowded with people wanting to see the special fireworks display that they close the gates since they fill to capacity! If you’re not one for terrible crowds or special fireworks displays, head on over to Epcot to the World Showcase Pavilion and catch the Voices of Liberty at the American Adventure Pavilion! You can actually do this any day, not just on the 4th of July, and I highly recommend it.  The movie The American Adventure is really, really fantastic. I actually cry numerous times every time I see it, it is incredibly moving and well put together. I highly, highly recommend you go see it whether or not you’re there on the 4th of July!
