Disney at 26 Weeks: Take a Break and Ride the Peoplemover!

Let’s face it: park days are long days and if you are pregnant no matter how careful you are your feet and your back are going to be killing you by the time night falls. I found that sometimes it was nearly unbearable to stand and wait for the fireworks to start because my feet would be burning and my back threatening to give out. I needed a break! Luckily over in Tomorrowland you have the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover! It’s a nice, long ride where you can put your feet up on the bench across from you and feel the cool wind in your hair as you relax and take a tour of Tomorrowland. It was honestly a lifesaver during Extra Magic Hours at the Magic Kingdom and even better: YOU CAN STAY ON THE RIDE! I hadn’t even thought of this until one of the cast members, seeing how large my belly was and how tired my eyes were told me as I got on the ride to tell them at the end that I wanted another go. And sure enough at the end when I asked if I could stay on, the very nice worker said I could stay there all night if I needed to! It was a really nice, refreshing way to recharge without sitting on a stationary bench and it has become one of my favorite stops in the Magic Kingdom.
