Disney at 26 Weeks: Where Are Your Benches Epcot?!

Epcot might be my favorite park. I am old enough to remember when it was Epcot Center and even back then, before all the Kidcot stops, I LOVED it! I really just enjoyed walking around every country and seeing what sorts of food and toys they offered. It’s a lot of walking (most of it unshaded) but I always found it worthwhile.

Then I was 26 weeks pregnant and carrying all in the front and needed to stop every so often to rest. Which is when I started taking benches and their placement into account. At Epcot I was surprised to find around the World Showcase they were few and far between! I wonder if this is because of people camping out on what few there are for Illuminations, but as someone that needed to rest every pavilion or two, it was very frustrating! Furture World was much better when it came to benches, but the World Showcase was sorely lacking and this future mom’s feet and back paid the price!
