Memory #5: Characters Everywhere!

The first time I took Adam to the Magic Kingdom it was raining and I was warning him the whole bus ride there that he shouldn’t expect to see many characters. That when I was little, characters were EVERYWHERE but these days they were all scheduled appearances with long lines and you only really saw the big guys. So imagine my surprise when we walked into the Magic Kingdom and BAM, there was like, this HUGE greeting line of characters all over the front of Main Street. We met Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Wendy, Alice, Pinnochio, King Louie, Friar Tuck, and a handful of others that I don’t even remember. It was INSANE, but possibly the absolute best welcome to the Magic Kingdom anyone ever got! It certainly set the tone for the day: which was magical!
